Shinging Waters
Aquaryd on hard standing in Canada

The last day of an adventure, stage III, that started before Christmas on Grenada.  And the final day is gorgeous. Clear skies, although….of course, no wind. So, morning swin (despite some “opacity” of the water) and breakfast.  We hoist the Penta Genua and get going.  50 more miles towards Shining Watres Marina in Tantallon, at the inner base of the peninsula where Halifax sits on the outside.  Some 25 kilometers away.

Perfectly uneventful day.  We pass many beautiful points with light houses.  The coast line is very torn with a multitude of inlets, coves and islands.  The course is pretty straight into the Marina where we arrive at 1700 hours.

Shining Waters is a small marina with an impressive club house (and extremely sophisticated rest rooms, best on the entire voyage!).  The hard standing area, however, is large, equipment is good and the place makes a very good impression.  We make friends with the staff, Meg, who, in the absence of a taxi, agrees to drive Barbro and Disa to the grocery store and drive them back.  Another Aquaryd hero!

A fancy last supper on board.
